Demandbase Earns Spot on Best Places to Work List for Sixth Year Running

Notable Honor Means Even More In a Year Spent Merging Teams Amid Three Acquisitions

SAN FRANCISCO, CA
June 30, 2021

Demandbase, the B2B go-to-market leader, today announced it was named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area, Midsize Companies, by the San Francisco Business Times. This is the sixth consecutive time Demandbase has made the list, and comes on the heels of a busy and important year for the company. In June of 2020, Demandbase acquired Engagio and then acquired InsideView and DemandMatrix in May of 2021. These strategic acquisitions have propelled Demandbase into a full B2B go-to-market suite, and have created new opportunities through the highly intentional merging and integration of all parties under the Demandbase banner.

“We’re overjoyed to make the Best Places to Work List again, especially as we have added new teams and positions to keep up with our expansion since last summer,” said Gabe Rogol, chief executive officer at Demandbase. “Acquiring three companies in the span of one year meant that our original team expanded to include three new teams, and all during an unprecedented global pandemic. We believe we’re only as good as our people, so we invested heavily in relationship-building and keeping our employees empowered as we’ve all become one. Earning a spot on this list really proves that this ongoing investment into our team has yielded the impact we hoped it would, both on individual team members and the company collectively.”

The Demandbase executive team has placed a strong emphasis on employee recognition through our monthly value awards and peer to peer recognition application powered by Bonusly. The application has seen huge success. It works by giving each person points to give away to whoever they want to for helping out on something or reaching some milestone. For example, a work anniversary, sale, project completion, or even something as simple as stepping in to help when it wasn’t asked for. The Bonusly points earned can be redeemed for hundreds of different prizes including lunch with the CEO or the VP of their choice, popular subscription boxes and gift cards. They have also encouraged staff to let colleagues know when they have important plans (including commitments outside of work like activities with their kids or scheduled exercise). This openness has kept honesty, productivity and collaboration at their highest. The company continues to innovate in its leadership and relationship building, and it shows in the level of satisfaction employees feel.

The San Francisco Business Times’ Best Places to Work list is determined based on scores obtained from a survey of each company’s local employees, administered by Quantum Workplace. The midsize company category includes organizations with 100-199 employees working in the Greater Bay Area.
