Heatmaps in Demandbase provide a visual display of how accounts are engaging with your organization. Users can choose between a preset view or a custom view. The preset view displays fields such as account name and intent keyword set, with selectable preset values. The custom view allows selection of specific fields; for example, a segment called Marketing Campaign Responses can be set as the row and Persona as the column, showing which types of campaigns are generating engagement from specific accounts.
Color intensity indicates engagement level: darker colors represent higher engagement and lighter colors represent lower engagement.
Clicking on a row displays all accounts that have responded to that specific campaign type. Highlighting a column filters the account table below to show only that account and its associated activities. Within the table, the activities tab shows which activities have the most engagement for a particular account.
From the account table, users can select specific accounts and open the Take Action menu. Available actions include adding the account to a new or existing list in Demandbase, or taking action through integrations such as a CRM.
Heatmaps can also be used to identify low-engagement accounts by clicking on lighter-colored rows or columns. This surfaces unengaged accounts that may warrant targeted outreach or fit assessment.
