The Demandbase AI Spectrum

Our platform leverages  two distinct types of AI to deliver better pipeline, faster:

  • Agentic AI: AI agents act as your intelligent co-pilot and productivity amplifier.  Within Demandbase, these agents help summarize account insights, draft personalized communications, proactively research accounts, orchestrate plays, and execute tasks across your GTM stack. These agents may leverage multiple AI techniques including Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval systems, and Demandbase data to support research, analysis, and workflow execution.
  • Predictive & Algorithmic AI: The trustworthy, data-driven AI you already rely on. It powers our best-in-class account identification, buying group detection, and intent scoring using billions of signals to tell you who is in market and when to engage.
Our AI Principles

At Demandbase, our core AI principles are not just guidelines—they are technically enforced throughout our platform. Here is how our Demandbase AI and Agentbase architecture, data policies, and security measures actively support our five core AI principles.

We use AI purposefully to grow pipeline and deliver value for our customers

We develop purpose-built, human-centered AI tailored to the needs of the people using it as a co-pilot and productivity amplifier.

  • Purpose-Built Architecture: Agentbase utilizes an advanced “Mixture of Experts” (MoE) system—including dedicated experts for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), SQL, Web Search, and Actions. This ensures the AI is specifically tailored to execute complex Go-To-Market workflows.
  • Safe, Grounded Output: The AI Workflow is designed to process user queries through a secure Agent Gateway, ensuring that all responses are directly grounded in your authorized data to deliver  results safely and effectively.
We prioritize accurate, reliable, and secure data

We are laser-focused on providing a strong, integrated data foundation with the highest standards of data management, accuracy, validity, and privacy.

  • Strict Tenant Isolation for Training: Your company data (e.g., CRM data) is used only to train and fine-tune machine learning models for the provision of services to your specific account.

Demandbase does not use customer data to train LLMs or generative AI.

  • Zero Third-Party Training: While Agentbase leverages leading third-party AI development environments like AWS Bedrock, your proprietary customer data is never used to train third-party models accessed via AWS Bedrock
  • Standardized Data Retention: Customer data is retained for a maximum of 13 months following the termination of your relationship with Demandbase, and will be deleted within 30 days upon written request. AI chat history is securely purged after 28 days.
  • Account-Level Controls: Access to Agentbase is governed securely at the tenant/account level, ensuring holistic organizational control over AI enablement.

Administrators can enable or disable Agentbase features at the account level, and Demandbase is continuing to expand administrative controls over time.

Trust isn’t formed in a black box. We believe users should have clarity and be able to validate AI-driven outputs.

  • Built-in Observability: The Agentbase architecture integrates explicit “Observability” and “Evaluations” directly into the Master Agent Orchestrator. This ensures that the AI’s logic and data extraction processes can be monitored and validated.
  • Clear Prompt Strategy: The system utilizes defined prompt caching and strategies (such as ReAct and Chain of Thought) so that AI outputs are produced in a structured, logical, and traceable manner.
We are accountable and employ AI ethically

We are fiercely committed to privacy and data security, adhering to legal standards and industry best practices.

  • Governed by the Demandbase AI Management System Governance Policy : All data processed within Agentbase is protected by strict organizational and technical measures outlined in our comprehensive AI Management System Governance Policy.
  • System Guardrails: The AI workflow is physically structured with mandatory “Governance” and “Guardrails” checkpoints, ensuring that autonomous agents operate ethically, safely, and within predefined boundaries.
We consider the use of AI as standard operating procedure and prioritize continuous learning

We proactively seek opportunities to use AI to enhance efficiency and foster a culture of continuous AI learning and evolution.

  • Continuous Model Evolution: Agentbase is supported by a dedicated “Experiments” infrastructure (including AWS Sagemaker and a Playground environment) and a “Model Garden.” This allows Demandbase to intuitively anticipate customer needs.
  • Intelligence Extraction: The architecture automatically cleans, normalizes, and extracts facts from data, ensuring the system gets smarter, faster, and more efficient as a standard operating procedure.
