Build an account list

Building an account list in Demandbase using the Selector interface. The example user, Alex, creates a dynamic account list for her territory focused on high-intent accounts with a high propensity to become an opportunity.

To start, a new list is created and given a name. The Dynamic list type is selected, which causes the list to automatically update when defined criteria are met.

The list is built using Basic Selectors, a simplified segmentation interface. Three criteria are applied:

First, intent data is configured by selecting a keyword set tied to specific products, then filtering for High intent strength, meaning a high volume of people at an account are researching that keyword, and Trending intent, meaning research activity has increased in the last 7 days compared to the previous 6 weeks.

Second, the Pipeline Predict Score is used to filter for accounts with a score greater than 90%, identifying accounts with a high likelihood of becoming an opportunity within the next 30 days.

Third, the Assignment Territory field is used to limit results to accounts within Alex’s territory.

After all criteria are set, the Summary tab displays the full criteria before saving. The completed list can be used to reach out via phone, email, or sales engagement platforms such as Outreach or Salesloft.
