SAN FRANCISCO — April 15, 2014 — Demandbase, Inc., the B2B targeting and personalization company, today announced that Peter Isaacson has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Isaacson will be responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategy and execution — including corporate, product and field marketing — closely aligning marketing strategies with increased revenue and business results. Prior to joining Demandbase, Isaacson served as CMO at Castlight Health (NYSE: CSLT), a leading provider of enterprise healthcare cloud software, where he was responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategy and execution and helped scale the company prior to their IPO.

“With his unique combination of advertising and field marketing experience, and a proven track record of successfully creating new industry categories and bringing them to scale, Peter was the standout candidate to lead our marketing organization,” said Chris Golec, CEO, Demandbase. “He rounds out our leadership team with the expertise required to innovate the marketing and product development strategies that will increase the growth trajectory and adoption of our B2B marketing solutions.”

Prior to Castlight, Peter was SVP, worldwide marketing at MicroStrategy, and VP at Adobe, where he held several senior level marketing positions for more than 10 years. Isaacson started his career in advertising at Saatchi and Saatchi and Ammirati Puris Lintas. With nearly 25 years of technology marketing experience, and a focus on B2B marketing, Isaacson has the expertise necessary to help define and lead Demandbase’s strategy during this rapid growth period for the company.

“Demandbase is a market leader with proprietary advertising and personalization solutions built for the exploding B2B marketing category”, said Peter Isaacson, CMO, Demandbase. “As ad tech and marketing tech continue to converge, companies are demanding more targeted and personalized programs for their account based marketing. I am looking forward to helping Demandbase capitalize on this extraordinary opportunity.”
