PERSONALIZED HTML 5 ADS

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE SIZES FOR OUR PUBLISHERS

ASSETS TO SUPPLY

  • Adobe Animate CC or HTML files packaged with all associated and linked files. If these have not been created, please supply designs as layered Photoshop (.PSD) files, Illustrator (.Ai) files or PDF files exported from Sketch. We can use these assets to build HTML banners for you. Please have all sizes mentioned above ready for production.
  • Links to web fonts (google.com/fonts, Adobe Typekit).
  • Brand Guidelines (if available) for colors, fonts, logo usage etc. if we are creating from scratch.
  • Link to landing page for visual and content reference.

* Although we attempt to match your existing creative as closely as possible, please allow for some slight variation in layout, animation and text length.
(!) We cannot accept expandable ads at this time.

REQUIREMENTS & RESTRICTIONS

  • For best results, please create placeholder personalized text in your ads (“Company Name Goes Here” or similar) so we know where you would like the personalization and how it should animate (if animating).
  • Ads are restricted to a max animation length of 15 seconds, after which they must remain static.
  • Links to web fonts (google.com/fonts, Adobe Typekit).
  • We only have the ability to use one font and one font style for the personalized text.
  • The personalized text (Company Name, Industry, etc) has a maximum of 30 characters. Please keep this in mind when designing all banners.
  • Please allow at least 48 hours between final approvals and actual launch date for testing purposes.
  • All ad creative/ad tags must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex & MediaMind).
  • No tracking or data collection pixels may be included in any ad creative without approval from Demandbase, prior to the Insertion Order.
  • No 4th party pixels allowed in the ad tags, including DoubleVerify, Rubicon, Marketo, BlueKai, Xaxis, etc.
  • Due to Ad Exchange/Publisher regulations, no data collection of any kind is allow via the ad tags. If 4th party pixels are added to the ad tags at launch or anytime during the ad campaign the creative will be disapproved and campaign will be paused. This is strictly enforced by the AdExchanges.

NON-PERSONALIZED DESKTOP HTML ADS

If you do not want to personalize your HTML5 display ads but still want to target companies using our technology, your ads must meet the criteria on the following pages.

ASSETS TO SUPPLY

  • Please package all animated files associated with your banner into a .ZIP file – in other words the .ZIP file should contain the HTML as well as any of the other following file types necessary for correct display:
  • .CSS, .JS, .HTML, .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG, .SVG.
  • Zipped file size limit is 250 KB or smaller.
  • The ad must be viewable and click-able without a network connection.
  • Animation is limited to 15 seconds.
  • All ad creative/ad tags must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex & MediaMind).

  • Google requires that the domain of an ad’s landing page must have content that Google can verify. For example, if the ad’s landing page is https://cmbinsight.hsbc.com/LP=75 then https://cmbinsight.hsbc.com must not be a blank page.

REQUIREDMENTS & RESTRICTIONS

  • Once your ad is published, the “Ad Choices” icon will be overlayed in the upper right corner of the ad. It is there to provide consumers with enhanced information and choices about how and when data is collected or used to serve ads targeted to them based on their likely interests.   • Creative Rotation: We can rotate up to two sets of creative banners but we cannot guarantee even delivery across two sets. We cannot rotate creative sets by “day of the week” or every other day rotation.

NATIVE CONTENT ADS

REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDED

Native ads are online ads that match the look and feel of publisher content. They appear as part of the typical browsing experience and engage the viewer with relevant ads that flow into the surrounding content, allowing publishers to render ads that are seamless with content.

  • Text Headline: 25 characters or less – Required
  • Caption/Body: 90 character limit – Required
  • Image size : 1200 x 627 pixels JPEG, 30kb or less – Recommended
  • Advertiser: Text that identifies the advertiser (e.g., advertiser or brand name, visible URL, etc.) – Recommended
  • Call to Action: Text that encourages user to take action – Recommended
  • Company Logo: Small icon image – Recommended
  • Landing page URL: URL for click-thru – Required

* Tracking Pixel: 1×1 image tag, 3rd party trackers are also accepted

INSTRUCTIONS:
Select an appropriate visual file and provide it, the headline, body copy and logo to Demandbase. Demandbase’s formatting technology turns a single creative into hundreds of ads automatically.

VIDEO PRE-ROLL ADS

NON-PERSONALIZED VIDEO PRE-ROLL

  • File Type: MP4, MOV, FLV or a VAST ad tag.
  • Max Video File Size: no larger than 50MB preferred.
  • Video Length: 15 seconds (preferred) or 30 seconds.
  • Video must be skippable, able to pause, and have sound.
  • If a client wishes to track campaign performance from a 3rd party such as DFA, they must send us a DFA click and impression tracker.
  • Click URL needs to be provided.
  • We are able to support quartile data wrapped within a 3rd party tag but not with a 1×1 quartile pixels.
