Banner Specifications

PERSONALIZED HTML 5 ADS

At Demandbase, our creative team can personalize your existing Adobe Animate files. We can also create HTML5 banners for you using your standard Flash files, layered PSDs and/or .Ai files, storyboards, and other creative elements available.

*Although we attempt to match your existing creative as closely as possible, please allow for some slight variation in layout, animation and text length.

**We cannot accept expandable ads at this time.

ASSETS TO SUPPLY

  • Adobe Animate CC source files packaged with all associated files. If you do not have Animate files, we can build the personalized banners for you using your existing Flash (Fl) files, layered Photoshop (Ps) files or Illustrator (Ai) files designed to the correct sizes.
  • Your company logo as an Illustrator file (Ai) or (EPS).
  • Brand Guidelines (if available) for colors, fonts, logo usage etc.
  • Please provide us with a link to your landing pages, or other materials you wish us to use as a basis for your banner design.
  • Links to web fonts (google.com/fonts, Adobe Typekit).

REQUIREMENTS & PROHIBITIONS

  • Ads are restricted to a max animation length of 15 seconds, after which they must remain static.
  • Links to web fonts (google.com/fonts, Adobe Typekit).
  • We only have the ability to use one font and one font style in our personalization element.
  • The dynamic personalization component (Company Name, Industry, etc) has a limit of 30 characters. Please keep this in mind when designing all banners.
  • Please allow at least 48 hours between final approvals and actual launch date for testing purposes.
  • All ad creative/ad tags must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex & MediaMind).
  • No tracking or data collection pixels may be included in any ad creative without approval from
  • Demandbase, prior to the Insertion Order.
  • No 4th party pixels allowed in the ad tags, including DoubleVerify, Rubicon, Marketo, BlueKai, Xaxis, etc.
  • Due to Ad Exchange/Publisher regulations, no data collection of any kind is allow via the ad tags. If 4th party
  • pixels are added to the ad tags at launch or anytime during the ad campaign the creative will be disapproved and campaign will be paused. This is strictly enforced by the AdExchanges.
  • Google requires that the domain of an ad’s landing page must have content that Google can verify. For example, if the ad’s landing page is http://cmbinsight.hsbc.com/LP=75 then http://cmbinsight.hsbc.com must not be a blank page.
  • Once your ad is published, the “Ad Choices” icon will be overlayed in the upper right corner of the ad. It is there to provide consumers with enhanced information and choices about how and when data is collected or used to serve ads targeted to them based on their likely interests. NON PERSONALIZED HTML5 AND NATIVE AD SIZES

If you do not want to personalize your HTML5 display ads but still want to target companies using our technology, your ads must meet the criteria on the following pages.

INSTRUCTIONS AND ASSETS TO SUPPLY FOR HTML DISPLAY ADS

  • Please package all files associated with your banner into a .ZIP file – in other words the .ZIP file should contain the HTML as well as any of the other following file types: .CSS, .JS, .HTML, .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG, .SVG.
  • Zipped file size limit is 200 KB or smaller.
  • The ad must be viewable and clickable without a network connection.
  • Animation is limited to 15 seconds.
  • All ad creative/ad tags must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex & MediaMind).
  • No tracking or data collection pixels may be included in any ad creative without approval from Demandbase, prior to the Insertion Order.

  • Creative Rotation: We can rotate up to two sets of creative banners but we cannot guarantee even delivery across two sets. We cannot rotate creative sets by “day of the week” or every other day rotation.

Tracking Pixel: 3rd party trackers are accepted as long as they are 1×1 image tag
