Now that we’ve all had some time to recover from Eloqua Experience last week, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on how great the conference was before we leap back into work as usual.
For some, the highlight of the conference was Thursday night. No, we’re not talking about Robin Thicke’s performance, although that was pretty cool too. We mean the Markie Awards, where four of our customers earned an award for their fantastic work as digital marketers. Rockwell Automation took home an award for “Best Lead Nurturing Program,” Blue Coat Systems won for “Data Clean House,” Dell Inc. impressed the judges with their Extraordinary Email and Intel wowed their peers enough to nab the “People’s Choice Award: Best Video Submission.”
We had a lot of customers and prospects stop by our booth to learn about what’s next with Demandbase. We were thrilled to meet with these companies one-on-one and chat about how they can make marketing’s next move. They may have been inspired by our partner presentation with CSC, where Nick Panayi and Jen Metz shared the tremendous results they’ve had with Target Account Marketing. Nick and Jen did such a great job that their presentation ended up being standing room only! Another highlight was when DemandFan John Dering from Strongview spent 10 minutes talking to a prospect who swung by, telling him all about Strongview’s success with Demandbase.
We also hosted over 300 guests at our Gangsters and Marketers party, held at Local Edition on Wednesday night. The turnout was so good that there was a line to get in, but fortunately, nobody seemed to mind waiting. Everyone who joined us had a great time, whether they were networking, getting down on the dance floor or trying on speakeasy-era costumes in our photobooth.
All in all, it was a great couple of days, but we’re ready to get back to the grind. As soon as we look at these pictures just one more time…
