Chris Golec - Founder & CEO
Chris Golec founded and has led Demandbase since its inception in 2005. He brings more than 20 years experience and a successful entrepreneurial track record to the company. Chris started his first business, Supplybase, in the mid 90's to help large enterprises overcome the challenges purchasing and engineering groups face in managing their global supplier base. After building significant momentum in the marketplace, Supplybase was acquired by i2 Technologies (ITWO) in 2000 as part of the largest software merger in history. After leaving i2 in 2001, Chris started Next Stage Consulting to help companies build and manage world-class demand generation operations. Since 2002, Chris has acquired substantial expertise in developing and implementing a range of marketing programs and lead gen strategies for both small and large clients, including Microsoft and Salesforce.com, while building the intellectual capital behind Demandbase. Prior to becoming a software entrepreneur, Chris spent 10 years with GE and DuPont in global marketing, sales and engineering roles. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University ('87) and an MBA from Boston University ('93).
Larry Bernstein - Vice President of Engineering
Larry Bernstein joined Demandbase in 2007 to lead the company's product development organization. He brings more than 25 years experience in engineering leadership roles and came to Demandbase from Xoom Corporation, a provider of global payment processing technologies. Previously, Larry was Vice President of Engineering at QRS Corporation (acquired by Inovis, Inc. for $112 million) and managed a team of 70+ employees focused on building B2B supply chain products. Prior to QRS, Larry ran the Server Platforms and Development Infrastructure groups at Kenamea, Inc., an InfoWorld Technology of the Year award winner. He also led a highly successful Customer Support and Quality Assurance team at Crossworlds before it became part of IBM in 2001 as part of a $129 million acquisition. Earlier in his career, Larry worked at Sybase as a senior engineer and manager for the network connectivity software. He earned an MS from Texas A&M University in '82.
Martin Longo - Vice President, Products & Technology
Martin has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry with a proven career of success in enterprise software environments with early and mid-stage software companies. He has held senior positions at various companies including: Technical Director for Oracle's online learning architecture, Director of product management at SuperCede and Asymetrix (both Paul Allen companies) as well as Chief Technical Architect responsible for the architecture and implementation of the Alaskan Command & Control System Military Automated Network. Additionally, Martin spent four years at Cognos as a strategic accounts engineer & technical liaison to Digital Equipment Corporation. His core competencies include Object-oriented analysis, Domain-driven & Usage-Centered Design, Agile Development, light-weight frameworks, Open Source stacks and Rich Internet Applications. Martin did his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Colgate University ('80).
Dan Lovette - Director of Sales
Dan Lovette joined Demandbase in 2007 to lead the company's sales efforts. He has more than 12 years of Sales and Management experience building highly efficient sales teams as large as 60 people. Prior to Demandbase, Dan spent 5 years at UltraDNS - a leading provider of Directory Services - creating a selling operation that took the company from less than $2 million in revenue to profitability. The company was successfully acquired by NeuStar (Nasdaq: NSR) in 2006 for over $65 million. Dan also held sales management positions at several large technology companies including Beyond.com, Onyx Software and Amplitude Software. Dan earned a B.A. from the University of California, Davis in '94.

Anthony Lee - Director
Anthony Lee is a General Partner of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments in the areas of infrastructure, Internet and enterprise software. Anthony currently serves as a director of Accelovation, CrownPeak, Demandbase, GuardianEdge, and Xignite. Before joining Altos Ventures, he served as Vice President of Marketing for Evolve (EVLV, later acquired by Primavera) where he developed and executed a turnaround strategy that resulted in a successful IPO. Anthony also served as Vice President of Marketing for social search pioneer Clip2.com and co-founded Signature Wines, a national distributor of private-labeled wines. Previously, Anthony was a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients in the telecommunications and pharmaceuticals industries. Anthony received his MBA from Stanford University and earned a BA in Politics and Economics from Princeton University.
Dennis Stradford - Director
Dennis Stradford has more than 35 years in the high tech industry leading global companies to success. After starting his career in sales for IBM, Dennis joined Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX) where led the growth from $40 million to $2+ billion per year and an IPO as the company's senior vice president of Sales and Marketing. After leaving Flextronics, Dennis entered the software industry at Supplybase where he successfully built and sold the company in March of 2000 for $380 million. He now serves as CEO of Nomis Solutions, a leader in pricing software for large banks and financial services companies. Dennis earned Bachelors of Arts degree at San Jose State University and holds a Master's degree from St. Patrick's Theolgaite.
