The Demandbase Real-Time Identification Service works by allowing you to connect your Salesforce accounts to your web traffic. Companies are tagged with your SFDC account status in Demandbase so that you’ll know who they are, and when they visit your website. When these accounts visit your website, the Real-Time ID Service returns their account status so that you can personalize and chage the web experience for top prospects, exisiting customers, or even competitors without cookies.
Once your top prospects are pointed to the content most likely to convert them into leads, the corporate identity of the visitor is automatically added to your conversions. Since the firmographic* information is known without requiring additional fields on your web forms, more prospects will identify themselves as leads, more leads will get loaded and distributed by Salesforce.com and sent to Sales.
